I've loved my daughter being at this school the last couple of years. The teachers are wonderful and the school works with you on any difficult situations (like your kid being the last to be potty trained!). The bi annual shows are so much fun. The petting zoo, the annual bike parade, dress up days. A tip is to take a picture of the weekly plan they keep inside the classroom. Let's you chat to your kid about what they are doing (and for me, learn a little spanish). I like the two ladies who run it, they always say good morning, smile and help you start your day right. I LOVE this school for both of my children.  My daughter has been going here since she started at 19 months.  This is her 4th year and she is conversing with her teachers solely in Spanish.  Her  younger brother is on his 2nd year there and will be continuing until he starts kindergarten. Excellent! Our 2yo son is used to my wife and I both being home because of our jobs and he had a hard time getting used to being dropped off but everyone there is incredibly patient and loving.  The teachers and all other staff truly love kids.  EVERY DAY they show how kind, attentive, and loving they are with kids.  We are so happy we discovered this school and feel blessed everyday we drop of our little guy.  They have endless energy to match the kids and are very creative with there activities.  This is NOT just a place for kids to pass the time; it is a place where they go to honestly grow and develop.  They have a plan to educate and a vision to expand the language and knowledge of the Spanish culture with kids.  Without any doubt this is the best place in the DFW for kids. For almost 7 years I've been picking up my Grandkids at the Southlake Spanish Schoolhouse, and my youngest is still there.  This place has been, in a nutshell, amazing.  I've watched the kids grow and learn with some of the most attentive teachers anywhere.  I personally interacted with all my Grandkids teachers and they are truly boundless in their energy and enthusiasm to serve.  And to top it all off, the kids all understand and speak Spanish now...what a plus!   I've only seen love and attention towards all the kids and my feeling is they genuinely care about the children entrusted to them.  I only wish that I had a place like this to take my own child when she was growing up.  If anyone is contemplating Southlake Spanish Schoolhouse I'd say don't hesitate. I cannot say enough about this pre-school.  Immersion pre-school is the best choice for your child.  We have been with Spanish Schoolhouse SL since my 10 year old was 3.  I have had all three of my children in this school and I currently have a 4 year old there. They are so accommodating and the teachers LOVE LOVE LOVE....and I mean LOVE these children!  These teachers do not have to work....they do it because they love their job!  What more could you ask for?  These children are hugged on and cared about the entire time they are in the care of SSH.  The school makes significant efforts ensure the safety and well-being of these kids.  Our family has seen it all and been through it all with SSH Southlake.  The teachers stay...there is not a lot of turn-over w/ these teachers.  If there is an issue, they address it immediately and are caring with families.  I just cannot say enough; you WILL NOT regret taking your child here.  The kids (even those that are not used to Spanish) will adapt very quickly.  There is no TV time, no free-for-all day care atmosphere going on at SSH.  They work on a curriculum and children are taught by using fun and interactive modules.  I feel so lucky that our family has been able to be a part of this WONDERFUL school for the past 7 years.

This school is amazing. I am a teacher and I can tell you the learning and the atmosphere of the Southlake Spanish Schoolhouse is like none other. It is warm, inviting, and engaging. Not only do children learn a second language, but they learn about art, music, culture, literacy, numeracy and community. I have seen my son thrive in the past year while attending this school.  I highly recommend this as both a preschool and kindergarten program.
